Hope on Tap: Raise a Glass, Raise Awareness
The Hope for Change movement continues! Join Lancaster SPCA for our second Hope for Change community event, Hope on Tap: Raise a Glass, Raise Awareness!
Hope’s story touched our community and shined a light on the need for stronger protections for animals in Lancaster County. Now we’re turning that awareness into action. Come learn more about what we’re working to change, including spay and neuter ordinances, pet registration, breeding permits, humane requirements for tethered animals, and restrictions on roadside, flea market, and parking lot animal sales.
And, of course, come meet Hope! Our very special guest of honor plans to make an appearance, health permitting. ❤️🐾
County Council members have been invited to attend, giving community members an opportunity to meet and speak with local leaders about animal welfare in Lancaster County. We’ll also have adoptable dogs looking for their own furever homes, Hope for Change T-shirts, and information about how YOU can add your voice and help create meaningful change.
📅 Saturday, September 26, 2026 | 1:00–3:00 PM
📍 LA Tap Room | 134 S. Main St., Lancaster, SC

Together, we can be Lancaster County's Hope For Change!
Lancaster SPCA is a nonprofit, all-volunteer animal rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of homeless pets in the Lancaster County area. We take in the critically ill, abused, neglected, and injured animals who would have little or no chance of survival without our intervention. LSPCA ensures that each one receives the best possible veterinary care, then we focus on getting those animals temporarily fostered until adopted into a loving home or transported to a rescue partner.
