Help Us Find Justice for Hope
Hope's story has touched thousands of people throughout our community. On June 18, Hope, a tiny 4-pound senior dog, was found abandoned on the side of the road in unimaginable condition. She was so severely matted that she could not stand, walk, eat, or drink on her own. Thanks to emergency veterinary care and the incredible support of our community, Hope is now safe, healing, and beginning to experience the love every dog deserves.
While Hope's recovery continues, one question remains: Who did this to her?
Hope is believed to have been abandoned on or around June 17 in the area of Quali Rd between Horton Rollins Road and Kershaw Country Club Road before being found near a roadside trash dumping area.
Someone may have seen something.
Someone may have security camera footage.
Someone may know information that could help investigators.
Even the smallest detail could make a difference.

Lancaster SPCA is a nonprofit, all-volunteer animal rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of homeless pets in the Lancaster County area. We take in the critically ill, abused, neglected, and injured animals who would have little or no chance of survival without our intervention. LSPCA ensures that each one receives the best possible veterinary care, then we focus on getting those animals temporarily fostered until adopted into a loving home or transported to a rescue partner.
