Hope for Change was never about just one dog or one event. It is about creating lasting change for animals throughout Lancaster County.

Lancaster SPCA continues to advocate for stronger, more effective animal ordinances that better protect the animals in our community. Meaningful change takes time, and it takes a community willing to keep showing up and making its voice heard.

 

We Need You to Keep Showing Up

One of the most powerful things we can do is show our County Council that our community supports change. Wear your Hope for Change shirt and join us at Lancaster County Council meetings. Let’s fill the room with red shirts and provide a visible reminder that Lancaster County residents want stronger protections for animals.

Lancaster County Council generally meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 PM at the County Administration Building, 101 N. Main Street in Lancaster. Please check the County calendar for meeting dates and any schedule changes.
