Pets Available for Adoption

Adoption Process:

We do not operate a shelter. All animals are placed in foster homes until a permanent home is found. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please complete an Adoption Application online. Once approved, we will set up a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time.

If you are interested in fostering, please complete a Foster Application.

Important Information:
*We require that all puppies & dogs are adopted to homes that have a physical fence in place (no invisible fence) at the time of the adoption.

*For cats/kittens: We have a strict NO DECLAW policy and will not adopt an animal to a home that intends to declaw.

*We require that all animals already residing in the home be up-to-date on all vaccines.

*A home visit will be conducted by one of our volunteers before an animal is placed in the home.

Note: LSPCA is CLOSED to intake and therefore we have very few pets available at this time.

Sadie

Sadie

2/17/21 - I’m Sadie & I'm looking for my forever family. When I was found & brought to the shelter I was injured and had to go see an orthopedic doctor. I ended up having major surgery on my front left leg, but now I’m doing so much better! After my checkup next week, I’ll be looking for my forever home. I’m about 2 years old, 35 lbs and I love everyone ... even cats! If you want to meet me, applications are being accepted now. Lots of love and fenced yard required.

Sturgis

Sturgis

1/26/2021 - Hi! My name is Sturgis and I'm about 2 years old. I love people and would love a kitty friend to play with. I have had all my shots and have even been neutered. The nice people did say I was FIV positive. I don't know what that means but I feel fine and am very healthy. I would love a furever home where I can have a big screened porch or safely go outside sometimes. Who wants to take me home?? Applications for Sturgis are being accepted now.
